SIGN LANGUAGE SCHOOL BENEFIT

Thanks to everyone's help, we raised so much money on Sunday September 12 2004 at the Time-Stereo BENEFIT CONCERT for NEPALI SIGN LANGUAGE SCHOOL (see notes below) . I know a lot of you couldn't make it to the concert so here's what it looked like!!!

Warn Defever sang "I Hate The Capitalist System" by Sarah Ogan.

Jake played violin,Jamie played drums, and Warn played piano!!!

Niko played a guitar with stones!!!

Niko is from Japan!!!

Metal Dungeon is a mysterious Time-Stereo recording artist!!

They showed a scary movie while they played!!!

Little Claw is Kilynn, Jamie, and Heath.....they're great!!!!

They're recording a new album at the Brown Rice recording studio!!!!

Dead Machines are Tovah and John Olson!!!!

They built their own electronic instruments!!!

Aaron Dilloway played without his shirt!!!!

Erika Hoffmann helped organize this benefit concert and gave a speech. It was sad and everybody gave even more money.

Saturday Looks Good To Me and Nomo tried to play at the same time, but it didn't work out like they planned.

So they took turns playing songs. Nomo played in the other corner.

It was a fun dance party!!!

NOTES: Nepal is a super small third world country located deep in the Himalayas, nestled between Tibet and India. Extreme poverty allows poor health conditions resulting in a greater incidence of deafness in children from basic childhood illnesses. In a major city like KATHMANDU, there are a few sign language schools but in the countryside, isolated deaf children are still language-less. Four years of fighting-off attacks from maoist rebels have left the already-limited government resources depleted. This concert will help fund the construction of a school in Sindhuli which is in the middle hills of the Eastern half of the country.
